#27 - The SCIENCE of Multistreaming

Today, Midgeman and Lionheartx10 started off the podcast by coming up with an ingenious idea to keep mic placement. Then discuss the rise of multi-streaming and the shift in viewership from Twitch to YouTube and how creators such as Ludwig feel about multi-streaming for growth. They analyse data from Q1 and Q2 of 2024, highlighting the increase in hours watched on YouTube and the challenges Twitch faces in terms of discoverability and VOD content. They explore the benefits and drawbacks of multi-streaming, including the potential for increased reach and discoverability, as well as the challenges of managing multiple platforms. They also touch on the importance of analytics and data in evaluating the success of multi-streaming efforts. However, acknowledging that multi-streaming is not always for everyone and it is absolutely okay to not want to fully explore that, and if you do, its okay to also not want to continue with it.
